Bohemia Suburbana is an alternative rock band formed in 1993, with 6 Studio Albums and an extensive history of tours in Central America and the United States. It was nominated to theLatin Grammy Award in 2011 in the category of Best Rock Album. It is recognized as one of the fundamental pieces in the construction of what is now  Guatemalan Rock or contemporary popular “Chapina” music.

Alvaro Rodriguez was active in the band from 1994 to 2020 uninterruptedly; Fulfilling the functions of keyboardist and guitarist. Also carrying out the composition work, Production and management throughout 27 years of history as a partner and member of the group.
